Anyone know an easy way to convert a server that's not currently RAIDed to RAID1? The idea in my head now is to do a full backup, blow out the current config, use the HP ACU to RAID it, then rebuild it then restore the backup.
"Check both the destination and return path when a route fails." "Switches create a network. Routers connect networks."

definitely make sure you have a good back working (key point) backup.
I've never really done it on a machine except from scratch (with hardware done it with software and did not need to reinstall) but I see no reason why you would need to blow anything away since it's a hardware RAID and the OS isn't really "Aware" of the RAID
