Question about VMplayer
I installed VMplayer and I think I will need a VGA driver. What driver will I have to download? DO I have to install the VGA driver that came with my PC or VMplayer has different driver? Thanks

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminThe drivers used will depend on the operating system image you load into player. There's no need to update the driver when loading any flavor of Windows. Are you running a Linux image? If so, Google for any VGA-related issues that your Liniux distro release may have with VMWare Player.

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminNo need to download any drivers. They are already on the Windows 2K/XP installation CD that you use to create a loadable image using VMWare Workstation or Microsoft Virtual PC. VMWare Player isn't capable of creating VMWare images, only loading and running them. Sort of like the difference between Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader for PDF files.
