Cisco Netacad Final

Hello. I'm a student in the Cisco Networking Academy (cisco.netacad.net). I am currently working on the CCNA Discovery curriculum "Working at a Small-to-Medium Business" final exam 4.1. I have taken the test once and I have passed with a 74 icon_eek.gif , but in order to get my certificate that says I have completed the course I must make an 85 or higher. When I finish the test I feel as if I understand and know all the answers but in the end it turns out this is not true by any means.

I have printed out the questions for my own personal use but I still cannot find any help throughout the curriculum, on the internet, or from my instructor. It seems what I have trouble with is are the figures that ask questions. An example of a question on the test is as follows...

"Refer to the graphic. Which command will configure a static route on Router A to direct traffic from LAN A that is destined for LAN C?

1. RouterA(config)# ip route 192.168.4.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.5.2
2. RouterA(config)# ip route 192.168.4.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.3.2
3. RouterA(config)# ip route 192.168.5.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.3.2
4. RouterA(config)# ip route 192.168.3.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.3.1
5. RouterA(config)# ip route 192.168.3.2 255.255.255.0 192.168.4.0"

In the graphic there are 3 LANs: A, B, and C. LAN A is 192.168.2.0/24. LAN B is 10.90.3.0/24. LAN C is 192.168.4.0/24. When I took the test I chose choice number five. Above the routers there are the network addresses(?) 192.168.3.0/24 and 192.168.5.0/24 . The ports are also labeled it seems as .1 and .2. I am not entirely sure how to figure out the answer to this. I answered with all of the knowledge I learned from the course. If anyone here has any tips that would like to help me, please feel free to reply. If there is a need of a picture of the figure, I can recreate it in paint or something.

    Welcome to the forums!

    The diagram would help, but here is my bet:

    The answer is 1 or 2.

    WHY you ask.. well ->

    You need a route to the 192.168.4.0 /24 network (LAN C). That means we are looking at answers 1 or 2. Now without seeing the picture, I am assuming that this route needs a next-hop addy of 3.2 [EDIT] "OR" [/EDIT] 5.2 (this is where the picture comes in).

    Hm, I agree. That definitely makes sense. I am not sure exactly why my instructor incessantly seems to have no knowledge whatsoever about the course he teaches.

    I would say the next hop from LAN A would be LAN B, since B is between A and C. So that would make it 192.168.3.2, right? It seems the connection over A and B is labeled with the address 192.168.3.0/24.
