I passed the 70-270 with a score of 715 today.
I am quite relieved though as i made quite a few mistakes with how i studied for this when compared to my previous tests and was also influenced quite a lot by real life. I feel that ive learnt quite a few things not just about XP but also about myself while studying for this exam which will help me in the future.
I found the notes on this site and the practise test to be pretty useful again but i think the most important thing is to really enjoy the subject that you are studying which i didnt have in XP although it seems from reading 70-290 that i will enjoy that much more and because of that study and prepare much better.
Forgot to add that i used only my experience of 2 years doing IT support and the Official Microsoft 70-270 book with the technotes from this website next time i think i will go back to using multiple books so that i can cover all topics more throughly
