O/T PIX - Management Question

I know this is a little off the beaten track but...

My company has hired Verisign to manage our two firewalls.
What are the pro's and con's with this?

Loss of control.
Latency in configuration changes.
Not having direct access to logs etc. to see if/why problems are occurring.
You do not have any direct knowledge of the personnel who are now guarding your perimeter. It could be a genuine PIX expert or a near entry level tech they trained for a month for level-1 support.

I'd never go with a managed solution especially for security due to all the reasons listed by Ahriakin. Its just not worth the risk when you could just train someone to manage the firewalls.

I can't really think of any pros.....

the only pros i can think of is that surely they would have 24hr monitoring versus one single person and also wouldn there monitoring capabilities be much better.
