Hi all ....
CDP ,in switches only as we all know, uses the lowest SVI in its advertisements traffic to other cisco devices.
How can we choose a specific svi to be advertised in the CDP traffic?

    Come on Netwurk, i expect more from a ccnp candidate,
    his alias is CCIE_2011 not CCIE_2008. icon_lol.gif

    Maybe he thought it meant the time (military) not the date! :Dicon_wink.gif
    I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

    I tried to disable cdp at svi. It seems impossible.

    CDP uses vlan 1, if you disable vlan 1 on the trunk, cdp will still use vlan 1.
    The link provided didn't explain this.

    CDP is not supported on an SVI. They are logical interfaces inside the switch so what device would they exchange a CDP frame with? Itself?

    What is it you are trying to do?
