Network Teaming Driver on MCS server

guys i am looking forward for a callmanager installation on HP MCS servers.I happened to see about Network Teaming Driver on one of the cisco documentaions which explains about giving ip address to multiple lan cards of the server.could you guys explain to me what a NetworTeaming Driver is ?

    With some MCS and HP server you have the capability to configure two connections to the network so that you can still have network connectivity in case of switch failure -- as long as you plug the 2 teamed network adapters into different switches.

    You'd also have your Publisher and Subscribers plugged into different switches to minimize the impact of a switch failure, so you still have some fault tolerance if you have servers that don't support adapter teaming.

    If you have the capability and the switch ports available, you should probably do it.
