Connecting to a printer on a different subnet.
Is it possible? And if so, what's the easiest way to configure it? I have a user that wants to print to a color printer that is on a different subnet. Her IP is 10.0.2.33 and the printer's is 192.168.1.122. Any suggestions?

blargoe Member Posts: 4,174 ■■■■■■■■■□Assuming there is network connectivity between the two subnets, all you have to do as set up a new "local printer", attach it to a Standard TCP/IP port, give it the IP address of the printer, and install the printer driver.IT guy since 12/00

Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
