Does anyone else know that they are changing the video connector again? From VGA to DVI now to display port.

Dunno. that really bites though.

We have 4 different types of video connectors in this building: 3 DVI's and VGA. Thanks, Gateway, for being so consistant!

To be fair, out of 350 systems, we only have a handful that have digital-only dvi's and no regular DVI or VGA. They're stuck with crappy monitors for the next 3 years until they get upgraded.

DVI is a way to go and I think we should move away from VGA.

However, setting a standard always the weakest spot of IT field...
