    VUE did allow the use of the calc while Prometric didn't. I haven't paid attention since I last did my 70-291 a year or so ago. I'm not sure about sites that are both VUE and Prometric. Either way, it's not much different from doing calculations on paper anyways.

    I was able to use a calculator on the 291 exam. But it did not offer scientific mode -- only 'standard' mode.

    Like royal mentioned, you should be able to make the calculations on paper anyway :)
