Would you mind sharing a little insight as to why it is worthless.. I'm still quite a newbie, but I'm trying to collect/build a decent setup for my lab. I actually considered the 2924-XL-EN, mostly because of it's affordability. But if it's not really going to help me with CCNA/CCNP studies, I may want to stay away from them as well. I'm not just looking for something that is "good enough for now". I want to be able to use them and be relevant for when I move on to more advanced materials. I'd appreciate your input.CCIE Wr: In Progress...

Just a few that I can remember off the top of my head that didn't work.
They'll trunk and all to the 2950's but the command sets are different.
With the price of 2950's on ebay being only about 50 bucks more than the XL-EN's it really makes more sense to save for the 2950.
