Linksys Routers

I have a WRT54G at on location and a BEFSX41 at another location and am running a FTP server on W98. I orginaly had the BEFSX41 on the network that is running the FTP server but I can't get thru the BEFSX41 over the internet to the server and the WRT54G works just fine. Both routers are set-up the same as far as I can tell (haven't played with routers before) all I did was switch the routers from one network to the other and I could use the FTP server over the internet.
