Pause in script?

I am looking for a way to write a script to enter the initial password and enable password before it runs the rest of the script. I understand this would not be common practice in a prod environment, but it is for a packet tracer lab and am lazy. I am by no means a scripting guru, is there a way to script a 1 second or less pause before running the next command? The script runs too fast the way I currently have it set up.
