I have taken and passed 70-270, 70-290, and 70-291. I need to take an elective to get the MCSA. I was wanting to take the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 – Implementation and Maintenance 70-431 test. After I pass this test I should have all the requirements to have the MCSA cert. Can this elective be also used for the MCSE elective? Therefore only requiring me to taking 70-293, 70-294 and either 70-297 or 70-298 to get the MCSE cert.

dakotaguy Member Posts: 3 ■□□□□□□□□□I was looking at that page to double check the elective criteria and at the bottom of the page I saw a foot note that stated:
"5 Exams 70-089, 70-227, 70-228, 70-284, and 70-350 can count toward both the MCSA and MCSE elective exam requirements."
When I saw that 70-431 was not in the foot note I just wanted to make sure.
