Another server

Installed VMware server on my DC yesterday. Was trying to get a second 2003 server ( gave it 4GB space) on VMware. The install of VMware server itself went fine, but the installation of the 2003 server goes on for a while, then pops up a few mesasges "

Windows could not find the installer for Net.
Windows could not find the installer for NetClient.
Windows could not find the installer for NetWare.

And a couple of others.

Then it says Setup will reinstall. This process continues in a loop.

It seems to me to be some kind of hardware problem, or maybe something like the setup is trying a network boot. I got into the BIOS (looked like a stone-age BIOS!!), the boot order lists network boot at the bottom. There arent many settings I can play around with. BTW, it says Phoenix BIOS at the top. Maybe someone'e got a clue.

Also, I wonder why this would give such errors when the same operating system deployed on a different computer (stand-alone i.e. not on VMware) has no problems. icon_confused.gif

P.S. The specs of the computer are Acer 5600G, 2.4 GHz, 512MB RAM. I will have 2GB RAM by the end of the week.
