ospf topology
Hi everyone,
Anybody please give the sample ospf topology with 5 rotuers all are in the same area(with ip addresses for the interfaces)with the DR and BDR set?
Iam very much in confusion in ospf topology with DR and BDR?
Please clarify my question?
Thanks.........

Someone in the CCNA Forum who's studying this for the CCNA may have a better link, since this is a CCNA topic, but try this one.
In the above diagram, all routers share a common multi-access segment.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -
kryolla Member Posts: 785the DR represent the segment to prevent excess messaging and un-necessary adjacencies and is always present in multi-access segment whether it is ethernet or frame relay. Works the same way as DIS on IS-ISStudying for CCIE and drinking Home Brew
