Transcender

I've been hearing from various people on here that the Transcender exams are supposed to be harder than the real life exam, I just took one and passed, didn't find it too tricky at all! On the other hand I've taken the MS Press exam that you get with the study guide and that just completely knocked my confidence, I failed pretty badly, this has left me a tad confused!
One thing I HATED about the MS Press exams were the amount of "sort and order" type questions, plus a fair few where there was more than one answer. The Transcender on the other hand was mainly straight up multiple choice questions.
Any thoughts on this? going on the Transcender test I feel I am more than ready to take the exam.
Cheers,
Richard

No matter what practice test you take you should be concentrating more on the objectives than your final score. I agree that transcender tests are commonly thought of as being more difficult than the actual tests. However, it is possible that your MS Press test covered more objectives. Analyze the objectives you are having troubles with review and repeat.

I've used Transcender for each of the three MS exams I've taken so far, and I've found them extremely close to the actual exam, if not a bit harder since on the multiple answer questions, MS generally tells you how many boxes you'll need to check.

I believe the tests with the Press Book are Measure Up tests?
They both arnt too bad in my opinion, I prefer Transender but thats just my opinion.
They both test you in different ways, And people find different ones more helpful or not.
Personally I found meaure up a good aid with studying for this exam and transender as a test of skills.
From my experience the Transender exams I used were harder than the real exam and the Measure Up maybe were a bit too easy.
Good Luck!
