    VMWare wants to be the leader in virtual storage technology, but there are issues with performance and stability in all VM technology that need to be overcome first.

    seems like they are willing to spend some $$$ in R&D to remedy that. IT kinda further strengthens the point of 'virtualization is the wave of the future' topic.
