check point
Has anyone ever used checkpoint firewall? How do you rate this in regards to cisco products? also the client VPN software it uses..
I think this may be popular in UK, but i come across a company in AU that uses this system.

I prefer Fortinet FortiGates to the CheckPoints. I'd take either of these over a Pix or ASA but that's my opinion. A lot of depends on your planned deployment; e.g., gateway, network, etc.

Luckycharms Member Posts: 267I don't know if I would agree with RTmarc about taking either of these products over a ASA. But I do like checkpoints firewall, easily managed and no really big problems with vpn's. But it has been 2 years since I last installed one.The quality of a book is never equated to the number of words it contains. -- And neither should be a man by the number of certifications or degree's he has earned.
