Best software the recover files from a formatted hard drive
Last week I formatted a machine and reinstalled Windows. After doing this I realized that I forgot to copy some files off of the hard drive. I am just wondering what is the best software to try and recover the files with. Would prefer free software as long as it works ok but would probably be willing to pay for software if it is not too expensive.
Also if the software is fairly easy to use that would be a plus.
Thanks in advance.

These are two good Free ones, your chances of them working on a formated drive are about 50/50. I have been able to get files off a formated drive with them before, download them and give them a try you might just get lucky! If at first you don't succeed, failure may be your style!
