Just out of curiousity
if you get a CCIE say R/S
How do you maintain it? Does it expire or do you have to get other CCIE's to keep it current?

You have to get your next CCIE within the next year, your third six months after that, and your fourth three months of that. Then you will be an "official" CCIE.
