SAT preparation help?????

I have my SAT1 test after 1 week. I am worried about critical reading portion ,give me some tips for that.

I have to take a GMAT this weekend, which is similar to the SAT. It also includes Critical Reasoning. It basically tests you on understanding of the passage and your ability to take what you read and apply it/compare it to something else similar to the passage. You will get questions asking what would strengthen or weaken an argument, if the author agrees with a point would they agree with this other point too, etc.

I would pickup a SAT study guide book or something. I have the Official GMAT Guide v11 and it's pretty good. Hopefully some others can shed some light on that particular section. My examples are what you run into for the GMAT, and I'm told the SAT is similar since they have the same test makers. Good luck!!
