Step two: Read them.
Step three: Take and Pass Net+

Did you get a lot of Vista questions?
Anyway what I did, (I dident pass my N+ not long ago)
Downloaded this sites technotes (very good +good summary of everything)
printed preplogic's 15 miniute N+ (everything in N+ summrised well its about 10 pages)
link on this site
Got a Good textbook (I used Exam cram 2 ISBN num:078973254
Study well the cutout card, and the 15 minuite N+ as well
and when you are ready, go for it
Just remeber one thing, no matter what happens:
DONT CHANGE YOUR ANSWERS!!!!!
that is the one really good tip I can give you
I learnt this the hard way by failing twice (technically 3- read my earlieir post for details)
Dont just answer,
if you dont know mark it, and come back to it later
good luck! -

I would suggest getting a few different study sources. Don't rely on just 1 source. Pesonally, I used Preplogic practice exam and audio CD's...but these cost money and it was before I found this site. Check ebay, amazon for other cheaper study materials if you have money to spend.
Otherwise two great FREE resources are:
1) techexams study notes
2) Cramsession study guides
http://www.cramsession.com/certifications/products/list-study-guides.asp?vendor_id=7&view_type=active&vendor_name=CompTIA
Know your OSI model up, down, inverted inside and out. If your doing practice exams, know the answers, why they are correct, and just as important is why are the false answers incorrect.WIP: CCENT/CCNA (.....probably) -

2nd - dont take it lightly, and dont let the low passing grade fool you into thinking you can easily wing it with all the left field crap they throw in.
