Pix-501 AES Problem after license upgrade

Hi,
A colleague of mine recently purchased a license to upgrade a pix-501 from a 10 user to unlimited. The firewall has been in service with AES enabled. After the upgrade AES is no longer available and attempting to modify the policy apparently results in an error message related to the new license key.
I have not seen it personally or any of the isakmp policies and am only relating what he has said so far. Has anyone run across anything like this after attempting to upgrade the license on the pix?
Any input would be appreciated!

I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

Ahriakin Member Posts: 1,799 ■■■■■■■■□□He probably just has to go through the (free) online request to upgrade the license to 3DES/AES again since it's running a new key that likely defaulted back to DES only.We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
