Hi all,
First of all thanks for this great resource!
I'm a sys admin/consultant with about four years experience in both Windows and UNIX systems. I found the 215 to be a very straight forward test. The last cert test I took was the 210 over two years ago, and it seems to me that they've overhauled their tests since then. I seem to remember the 210 as having LOTS of long convoluted questions that were hard to follow. Most of the questions on the 215 seemed short and to the point.
The study materials I used for the test included the following:
1. The transcenders simulation exams (Money well-spent!)
2. Two Windows 2000 servers, a 2000 Pro wkstation, a Linux box (for the print server questions).
Anyone with a year or two of experience should be able to do very well on this test by using tools similar to those above to strengthen those areas their experience doesn't cover. Two areas of the exam that stood out to me as showing up a bit more than the others are:
1. Installation. I suggest anyone taking this exam practice the various types of installation. They seemed to pay a lot of attention to this area.
2. Dynamic disk management and repair issues.
