Problem Dial peer with MC3810 V3

PapoooooPapooooo Member Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□
Hi guys,

I just grab one of the famous MC3810 and try to make it work with 2 analog phone.
The thing is those phones are basic analog, don't have power, i was thinking the FXS port gonna power them like the standart RJ11 do.
Do i need to have some analog phone with power cable or maybe they are a special command to make it good.
Also maybe my FXS ports don't work.
Can someone help me .... please......

It doesn't get much simpler than this

Use the commands in this doc to verify your ports and configuration.

How about the output of a show version command and your dial peer configuration.

And by not work, what exactly do you mean? No dial tone?

Did you do a show voice port summary
Did you take a phone off hook and try a show voice port summary
Are you sure you're plugged into the correct port?

And what IOS image and version are you using -- since that wasn't in the output of the show version command you posted.

Unless you are using a wireless phone, you don't need power.

I've got a couple of cheap analog phones that have a call display and caller ID built in -- those I have to put batteries in to power the display before they will work. The cheapest analog phone with no display or extra features gets it power through the FXS port.

Are the phones you're using known working phones? Have you tried them on your home phone line?

What does a show voice port 1/1 give you
