70-290 & 70-291 Passed, then CCNA?

Hey guys, after seeing a post made earlier today comparing CCNA to 70-291.. do you think it might be a good idea after me recently passing 70-290 & 270-291 to go with CCNA? I attended a 2 year CCNA academy course back in the day (although unfortunately wasted the opportunity to pursue it) and I find that many aspects of the CCNA (from what I can remember) is covered in 70-291 (routing protocols, subnetting, vlsm, cidr etc etc).
It's not primarily the route I want to take but I think it might be useful to have the CCNA as a sideline if it's not going to take too much time to master.
Thanks!

I think you answered your own question.
"It's not primarily the route I want to take"
Don't waste your time on it if you need to get your MCSE or other certifications first. CCNA is much different than any test on the MCSE track.
