According to wikipedia RSA is used in PGP version 1 and IDEA is used for version 2.
Anyone have the proper answer for Security+ exam?
I think there was a question similar to this on exam.

It wouldn't be a very good specific question, but often the test will ask vague questions and look for the "best" answer. I believe that IDEA is correct if you should see something like this on the test. I didn't get any algorithm questions on my test, but I'm told that's unusual.No matter how paranoid you are, you're not paranoid enough.
