Can anyone confirm the following:
1. To create a
straight-through cabe
, make both sides have the
same
configuration. Ex. T568A to T568A. T568B to T56B.
2. To create a
crossover cable
, make both sides have
different
configuration. Ex. T568A on one side and T568B on the other.
3. To create a
rollover cable
use T568A one one side and make the other have pins 8 to 1. Ex. T568A normal cabling configuration pins to 8 on one side then T568A pins 8 to 1 on the other.
