Network Upgrade report

Hi,

Has anyone got any good links to documents which cover a network upgrade report? Which covers things like current network issues, how to resolve them, how to implement them/what is going to be implemented etc?

Obviously ive tried google and havent come across much so any useful links would be much appreciated!

You are looking for a Request For Proposal (RFP) or an RFP response. The reason you are probably finding it difficult is that within an RFP, companies usually detail their entire infrastructure and requirements as it stands in a document and send it confidentially to a bidding party and outline what they are looking to achieve with the new network.

There is a security risk in publishing this information publicly, and there are usually clauses in the RFP, that the prospective supplier keeps the RFP detail confidential. This is probably why you're finding it difficult to get a hold of resources online. If you google "RFP, RFP responses network upgrade" you will get a few hits including the below. I had a quick look at this one for University of Minnesota which appears to be quite high level and aimed at the "business" as opposed to the techy's but it might give you an idea;
