in CCNA & CCENT
Hi guys, this is my first post so I'll try to make it reasonably intelligible. I have skimmed over a lot of the various threads in this forum and I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, but I apologize ahead of time if this is a duplicate post.
It is my understanding (unconfirmed, which is why I'm here), that there are certain topics that are no longer on the CCNA exam, such as ISDN or Class A/B Subnetting (You'll only have to subnet Class C). I don't know for sure how true that is, or what other topics/protocols are not on the exam.
A lot of the study material that I have it rather old, so I'm trying to work with what I've got. I just hate to cram an bunch of dated or unnecessary information into my mind when I could use those brain cells for relevant information.
I hope that makes sense.... Thanks!

Should I study for CCNA using 640-801 material or not
You'd want to make sure that you do cover all the topics in the 640-802 CCNA Exam Blueprint, including the new stuff like SDM and anything else your old material doesn't cover.Genphlux wrote:You'll only have to subnet Class C
Anyway -- depending on how old your material is -- IPX and Token Ring aren't on the exam anymore.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
