Server+?

Is it me or does it seem like server + is a combination of network+ and security +?

I thought it seemed like more an extension of the A+, but networking and security are more than likely going to make their way into any server-related material/certifications.

Like dynamik says, "an extension of A+". There is hardware related material that is peculiar to the server room and server hardware, storage like SNA and NAS, lots of SCSCI. There is some Sec+ overlap as related to physical and network security as applied to servers abd data security. I do not remember very much about any Net+ material. And, network operating systems are covered--which is what makes a server a server.
It has been over 4 years since I took the exam. Just be sure to check the exam objectives at

Server+ does have some disaster recovery which I think Network+ had also, but really, it is "A+ for Servers" in my mind.
