in Microsoft Developers Certifications
With MS releasing new MCTS certs for 3.5 framework, how good it is to prepare for 2.0 exams?
Will the old ones fade out?
whats better to prepare for?
MCTS 2.0 or 3.5 ?

    It's something that I hear asked at other sites I go to, with regards to other technologies that version. I think it's not uncommon to wonder about which level of the technology to go for.

    My answer is that I think you should go for whichever best suits you professionally. If you have skill with .Net 2.0, then I think you should go for those exams - it'll be in the marketplace for a while, and 3.5 is awfully new. If you feel that you have a decent amount of experience with 3.5, and your customers/employer are going in that direction, then go for those exams. I don't think you can really go wrong with either tier.
