wants to set up a connection for 10pcs plus a server at home
i want to know the configuration to implement to still have internet connection when sever not running, thats my ADSL will be set to 1 the sever 2 and etc for the pcs. will use a hub/switch to interconnet the pcs.

I once came across a network where the addresses assigned to the internal network was pvt range of ips (10.0.0 ....) but their ip from the isp was (198.168......)


Also can i install Linux and windows xp on the same system?

Do you have a router that will do NAT/PAT for you to translate the private IP to a public one assigned by your ISP?
