Creating an image file

Hi

I have a plan to create a D partition on all pc's in work and create an image of the pc stored on this partion. Simple enough to copy back across if windows goes pear shaped, sounds good dunnit, works a treat


All i need is a free tool to do it, as simple as ghost - whack in a floppy, copy c to d, bobs ya uncle, same dance when doin a restore, floppy in - copy d to c job done.


This has to be a free utility, any recommendations would be much appreciated

Not free but..... Acronis has an option for this called the "Acronis Secure Zone". It's basically a hidden partition that you could boot to if the OS ever got screwed up and re-load the image.
