does anyone know of a good reference that explains step by step how to cluster
2 or more Windows 2003 servers? for failover??

I used it just for general clustering. checkout technet, microsoft has write ups for application specifics. many of the newer ms apps are cluster aware - so its easier to install and configure..Xbox Live: Bring It On
