Simulation router software ?

Hi Guys is there any software out there that will enable me to learn and program routers without buying the physical parts like a simulation.

Yes there are a few simulators from different vendors like boson netsim, packet tracer etc.

It has suggestions for books,labs,sims etc.

But be aware simulators dont support all of the commands an actual router do and many find that for the price of a simulator you can get a pretty good lab anyway.
