VMWare Server: storing virtual machines on external hdd
Goldmember
I'm having a huge problem accessing my virtual machines.
Once I install the virtual machines and play around with them everything works great.
The virtual machines are loaded into the inventory and I don't have to logon to the local host because everything is done by default.
I come back the next day and it asks for hostname, username, and password. I have no idea what these values are????
I cannot logon to the virtual machines and the inventory is nonexistent. Basically I cannot access anything.
What do I do?
Does this have to do with the fact that all my virtual machines are being stored on an external HDD?
I power off the external HDD at the end of the day. What credentials do I need to properly access this HDD and the virtual machines loaded on this HDD?
Thanks
