I brought the 2948g switch a few days ago but I tested it before I got it but now
when I plug in an ethernet cable into certain ports I won't get a connection.
I've been looking up how to troubleshoot this but I haven't come up with
anything that told me why the ports won't turn green but others do.
When I first powered on the unit the post told me everything was alright.
Now I'm just confused.....

miller811 Member Posts: 897Have you looked at the config to determine how the ports are setup?
Are all ports configured identical?
If not, then that may explain why they do not all work the same.
Check the config and report back the results.I don't claim to be an expert, but I sure would like to become one someday.
