MCSE 2003/MCP disappearing?

Is microsoft getting rid of the 2003 track so soon, or dropping the MCP title? Someone from work told me about this and I told him it was a load of BS. It's BS, right?

There has been no date set for the retirement of these certs. So you can tell your co-worker it is a bunch of BS.

Microsoft of phasing out the MCSE and the MCP. They are being replaced by the MCITP and MCTS. They have not announced the the retirement dates for the Windows 2003 exams.

NOR is the MCP title dropping. Once you have it, you have it. At least this is my understanding.

Yea, it'll just lose value as the technology becomes obsolete.
