Hello,

After doing some reading about using the /unattend switch without an answer file, I've read that it does an upgrade without changing the settings (time zone, netBIOS name, etc.), but I wasn't sure what happened when it came down to the product key. Does the installation process still prompt you for the product key, or what happens at that point?

You can put the product key into the answer file and it will skip that step for you. If you don't put it in there then it will prompt for the key.
