Raid 5 Controllers.
Anyone have a specific model/brand they recommend. We use Promise cards, particularly the tx2300 series for raid 0 or 1.
Most of our clients are small/medium business clients so raid 5 is plenty for what we do. They either dont want to incure the cost of a raid 6 or 10.
I was thinking of going with the TX4310 from Promise but wanted to see if anyone has any input prior.
Thanks.

It's going to vary based on interface, ports, etc. I'd go with Areca or 3ware. -

Prior to that I used Promise for IDE and Adaptec for SCSI, but I can't imaging you'd want to use any of those old cards.
