CCNP, gap between exams.
Is there any time frame within which you have to complete all four exams. The CCNP cert is valid for 3 years, does that date apply from the day you passed the last exam in series regardless of when the first exam was taken??

I believe the final exam for a Professional Level Certification has to be taken within 3 years of the first exam since the those exams are only good for 3 yrs before expiring.Shoot for the moon. However, I don't even think that's necessary. You get three years from start to finish, as IT Man said. That gives you nine months per exam. You could take them at a senior-citizen pace and still wind up with time to spare.
You really shouldn't have a problem fitting everything in that time frame. I think it's more of an issue if you're looking at multiple professional-level certs that have overlapping exams (i.e. CCNP and CCIP). -

if i had to nail all four in 8 months, the only other thing I could do besides using my head as a bookmark is breathe. Lol there's a bit of exageration there, anyway what was your background before starting CCNP? -

I was already running a production network and planning the migration to a new office so I was getting plenty of hands on at the time. Prior to that I had a few years networking experience fulltime with other companies. It certainly was a lot of work studying for CCNP but worth it.
