Passed This Morning
This morning I passed my Network+ exam with a 778. It was about what I had expected after reading many others experiences and thoughts. There was some awkward wording for a number of questions that led me to second guess my answers, but in the end it wasn't terrible.
I spent a great deal of time on study guides and wiki's from here and other forums, CBT nuggets, and practice tests. I didn't use any books, but I have a fair amount of networking experience so I spent a lot of my time memorizing tables and facts.
As for the test, I had a lot of specific questions on media and topologies, a few "connecting Netware to MS" questions, a good deal on wireless range and infrastructure, and a few on authentication. Only two questions involving Mac OS X, and not very many on the OSI model. I wasn't too surprised by any of the questions, and they were all covered under the objectives.
