Question on Resource Scheduling

So I may be missing something obvious. I want rooms to accept appointments even if they occur in the past. I could have swore a few months ago I saw this option when I logged into OWA and used the resource options, I suppose I am mistaken. So is there a way to allow this? I tried setting the RemoveOldMeetingMessages to false but this didnt fix it... Any ideas?? I assume this isnt to wild of a request so it has to be in there, right? Thanks for any help!

(odd requests on my user end such as this while they reference how groupwise could have done it, I hate how they have blinders on, always only the bad I tell ya!)
