I was looking at purchasing SQL server 2005 for a new database server we're deploying and was wondering what it meant by CAL's. I know what CAL's are but here's are scenario. Our customers hit our web server and the web server hits our sql server. Me and the developer are the admins so that's two licenses. Would the web server be the third, leaving us two more, or will it count all the customers hitting the web server? Any help would be appreciated.
