Hey everyone,
I have a 2501, which I hopefully will be upgrading soon to 16/16, and it's running 12.1 or 12.0. I have some 2610's running 12.3(24) and was wondering if I can just copy the IOS via tftp to the 2501? Will it function properly on 16/16? Thanks for any replies.

IOS images for the 2600 series usually start with C2600. IOS images for the 2500 series routers start with C2500. If a router has a specific IOS version like the 2691, then the Image name will be specific and start with C2691.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -
