Passed 70-290, problems and recommendations

Hey All,

So, I was sick of studying for 70-290 so I scheduled, took and passed it. 840 or 850 something. I can't rightfully say because their system crashed a few seconds after I clicked the "print" button with a "can't find *.cpp"! But I remember reading 840-850 something and they assured me the score was sent to Prometric.

I spent another 45 minutes there why they tried to figure it out. Another frustrating thing is the person just a few computers down had his computer just shut off on him. Unitek computer school in Fremont California by the way. The people running the front desk were so nice, so I don't want to comment anymore.

I used Sybex book, Microsoft book, Microsoft E-learning, www.vtc.com and TestOut. Ran every lab in all of those at least twice. But there is still a a number of regrets...
1) I should have spent more time working with NT4 workstation and server
2) I should have set up Exchange before going in to this
3) I shouldn't have spent so much time messing with scripting
4) I should have connected multiple domains and played with things between them
5) Memorize every tree in group policy

Anyhow, way more time than you need. They have me 3.5 hours and I was done in an hour.

Are you sure you took 290?

    I'll second that as well!

    After that test, not 100%!

Pass is pass. I would just recommend starting with an NT4 domain to anyone starting in on 70-290 and upgrading it.

    Congratulations!

As others have said some of these topics you regret dont seem to match the 290?

Maybe its releated to the unmarked content...
