Just wanted to share this with you guys. Spent hours yesterday installing Server 2003 and updating it on two test lab machines. I then installed SQL 2005 and got log shipping going - I was just about to try mirroring when my HDD on the primary server crashed. Ran chkdsk /r and got that lovely message "one or more unrecoverable errors."
Just wanted to share this with someone. Hours down the drain...
