Is the Price for certification the same globally?

Is the Price for CCNA in the US the same as the price of the exam in lets say Africa or South America?

I'm asking this question just out of curiosity.

Usually yes, they are always in US $.

Sometimes there may be a specific tax added on in your country (VAT, GST), but I am not sure where.

Actually the PDF you linked to states:

ICND 1 and ICND 2 Exams* $125 Worldwide

And the 802 exam was recently changed to $250 (or the local equivalent) worldwide

Yeah, especially when you consider that for the average person in Bangladesh that is equal to 1/3 of their annual income...
